Lensventure is custom-designed to provide a broad understanding of lifestyle photography for both beginner and intermediate photographers. Each workshop is taught in a unique location in a group setting. Following each workshop you will further your learning through interactive activities and one-on-one guidance from professional photographers.

Panama is the perfect destination for the adventurous photographer boasting a wide variety of unique locations close together. Spend less time travelling and more time enjoying as you explore an urban playground, a tropical jungle and and a Caribbean paradise.

Panama City

The capital city and the hub of the Americas. Start you Lensventure in the bustling metropolis of Panama City.

You will stay in and explore the historic streets of the beautiful colonial town, Casco Viejo. Tour lesser known areas and capture the local city life during the street tour. Make sure you enjoy the nightlife at local restaurants and rooftop bars.

Kalu Yala

A jungle town built with love and sustainability in mind. Kalu Yala is a magical place in the heart of the Panama Jungle.

Grab your camera and hike to a mountaintop for a killer view of the valley. Cool down in one of the many surrounding rivers or dive in from paradise rock. Enjoy healthy meals cooked with local ingredients. At night, gather around a bonfire and gaze at the stars.

San BlaS

A Caribbean island paradise with white sand, crystal clear water and the home of the untouched native tribes of Guna Yala.

Live the beach life as you camp on your on private island. Immerse in the native community as you tour Playon Chico. Connect with your fellow photographers as you gather around a bonfire and witness the magnificent bioluminescent algae.

Guna Yala

Immerse yourself in a native community like no other. Visit an island village and learn about the Guna culture while capturing amazing photos for your portfolio.

Caribbean ISLAND TOUR

Grab your snorkel as you traverse a series of tropical islands around the archipelago of San Blas. White sand, crystal clear waters and photo opportunities await.

City Street Tour

Practice your street photography as you are guided through the inner city neighbourhood of Chorrillo. Then navigate the historic streets of the restored colonial town of Casco Viejo.

BURWIGAN

Join forces with a non-profit project that is raising awareness about plastic pollution and rising water levels in Guna Yala. Use your photos to help support the cause.

JAGUR FaLLS Hike

Take on the challenge of the legendary jaguar falls hike. It’s a wild journey through the untamed jungle that leads to a gorgeous hidden waterfall.

Cacao Ceremony

An opportunity to practice an ancient indigenous tradition. Join your tribe in the jungle to drink cacao and celebrate life with music and ecstatic dance.

Accommodations

While in Panama City, you will stay in a hotel in the historic Casco Viejo neighbourhood. In Kalu Yala and San Blas, you will have your own tent with air mattress, pillow and sheets.

Sunset Sessions

The ideal time to practice everything you’ve been learning. Join your fellow photographers as you create amazing content with killer views during the best light of the day.

Food

Everywhere we go you will be eating the best, local delicacies prepared especially for you with vegetarian and vegan options available. Coffee and snacks are also provided daily.

Yoga + Meditation

Start your day off right by looking inwards and connecting with your inner zen. Professional instructors will lead optional yoga and meditation classes each morning.

TRANSPORTATION

Meet up in Panama City and we will take you to and from each location via private bus and boat. A special utility vehicle is used to arrive from basecamp to Kalu Yala.
